In my recent series “carousel”, each animal is a still-life surrounded by amoeba life-like forms which activate the space. In this series I explore the captivity of animals (a stand-in for humans), and existence in an unsettled world while introducing intensified colors, creating a unifying large scale series and performing a complex composition in each. All works are oil on canvas.
