Drawing birds gives me a wonderful opportunity to learn so much more about them. Their habits, adaptations, and natural history are endlessly fascinating to me. I enjoy sharing this fascination with others.
In my drawings, my focus is on the flow of the lines, the symmetry between components, and the balance of the completed piece.
The images are presented against a stark white background, evoking the iconic representations created by ancient indigenous cultures.
