John passion for stained glass started while he was serving in the Army while stationed in Germany. He made light catchers to decorate our house and also made clocks with stained glass faces. After twenty one years in the Army he retired and started Evergreen Glass Works. We bought wood working tools and a kiln to get started. We did many Art Shows and traveled to many cities met very interesting people. We are seventy seven years old and have been married for fifty two years and have done thirty three years of Shows.
