Jonathan Wohl grew up in the wood shop, learning from a young age the skills of the craft from his father, master woodworker Edward Wohl. After a decade making artwork in New York, in 2017 Jonathan returned to Wisconsin to join as a partner in Edward Wohl Woodworking & Design.
With formal training in the ephemeral arts and a background in digital media and software, Jonathan marries a design sense strongly influenced by his father’s work with a contemporary set of tools and techniques. He has designed custom pieces including benches, coffee tables, and cabinets, and has had a hand in the design and production of many projects in the Edward Wohl studio. Recent work includes new dining chair and stool designs.
