BillieJo Scharfenberg is a glass artist creating vibrant, spiritually inspired work that celebrates nature, light, and everyday magic. Her designs blend color, symbolism, and texture, transforming emotions, dreams, and found objects into meaningful works of art that glow with warmth and intention.
Growing up in South Central Wisconsin, BillieJo was immersed in creativity through her family’s love of ceramics, quilting, and food—traditions that shaped her belief that art is both sacred and accessible. Her path later led her to New England, where she studied fine arts and discovered a deep passion for stained glass. While apprenticing at The Glass Source in Connecticut, she refined her technical skills and contributed to exhibition and restoration projects, including work shown at Yale’s Green Gallery and the Plumb Memorial Library.
After returning to Wisconsin, BillieJo focused on making art available to people of all ages and backgrounds. She teaches homeschool classes, community workshops, and private lessons, known for her ability to inspire confidence and creative exploration. In 2023, she opened Angel Dreams Studios in Lone Rock, a space devoted to learning, collaboration, and artistic growth.
Alongside teaching, BillieJo works closely with clients to create custom glass pieces that honor personal stories, memories, and meaningful places—art that radiates beauty, light, and joy.
