Andrew Linderman is a studio potter and former high school chemistry teacher originally from the Twin Cities, MN, now living in Arena, WI. Inspired by a childhood spent outdoors in the upper Midwest and shared meals amongst friends and family; he makes functional pots to celebrate the best moments in life, relish our daily rituals, console us in our tumultuous days, and commune with our fellow humans. Linderman uses his background in chemistry to explore surfaces that interact with the various firing processes he utilizes to create his pots. The functionality of his artwork is enhanced by its aesthetic and tactile qualities.
