I studied weaving and textiles in college after having been raised by a seamstress and tailor. At 6 years old I first made crochet area rugs. A technique and skill taught to me by my maternal Grandmother. I used a wooden crochet hook and strips of fabric. After college I was introduced to the home knitting loom. I fell in love with knit fabric. I left weaving and never looked back.
