Paper, ink, color pencil

A simple piece of paper can hold a whole lot of precious life. My art translates my inner world into stories and images. I enjoy creating space for them and allowing them to shine on their own personal journeys. I feel deeply connected to the people, animals, towns, trees, and landscapes I draw. I see them as bridges-opportunities to heal and to love more fully.
As a child, I drew everything I longed for, and my drawings nourished my sense of self, offering an anchor of safety and well-being in difficult situations. As a teenager and adult, drawing became transformative. It provided a vessel through which I navigated depression, anxiety and eating disorders. My art taught me to value
the process and hold even the darkest experiences with kindness and patience. At the heart of my art is a commitment to remain true-to listen, to trust, and to draw from the deepest place within.
