Jean Marc Richel is still enhancing by hand some of the photos taken during a trip to Paris and Florence this early spring.
He has also been painting with dyes and Shellac ink the trompet vine in the garden on photo paper.

This Baraboo quartzite boulder was just too interesting not to work into a piece of furniture.
The glass topped coffee table was the result.

Our 6 acre prairie restoration is looking fabulous this summer.

Huge kudos to the organizers and volunteers, especially our own Diana Johnston, who did a fabulous job, again, to make the Fall Art Tour a wonderful success and by far the biggest weekend of the year for our area.

Most waking hours are spent in the studio right now. We have a few more pots to make but mostly glazing and firing to do at this point. We are almost ready for our last Windy Ridge wood-firing before the Tour! We will begin loading the kiln on Tuesday, and anticipate firing for about 50 hours beginning before dawn on Friday.
