New Work from Alan Anderson

Alan's Table

This  Baraboo quartzite boulder was just too interesting  not to work into  a piece of furniture.

The glass topped coffee table was the result.

Thanks from Frank

Huge kudos to the organizers and volunteers, especially our own Diana Johnston, who did a fabulous job, again, to make the Fall Art Tour a wonderful success and by far the biggest weekend of the year for our area.

Thanks,
Frank at Mulberry Pottery

Greetings from Brewery Pottery

Diana Johnston

Most waking hours are spent in the studio right now.  We have a few more pots to make but mostly glazing and firing to do at this point.  We always look forward to welcoming visitors at Brewery Pottery during the Fall Art Tour. It’s a weekend filled with lively exchanges, ongoing demonstrations and great energy.

We are so happy to be a part of the Fall Art Tour.  We hope to see you soon…

Almost Ready to Fire at Windy Ridge

We are almost ready for our last Windy Ridge wood-firing before the Tour! We will begin loading the kiln on Tuesday, and anticipate firing for about 50 hours beginning before dawn on Friday. We have plenty of dry wood and plenty of good friends coming to help us stoke, and we are looking forward to a load of lovely pots to share with all of you in about three weeks! To see pics from our loading and firing, stop by our blog (colepottery.blogspot.com) later this week.
