Kathleen started weaving professionally in 1985. She hand dyes and weaves fabrics of cotton, linen, merino wool, silk and rayon fiber for garments and accessories in her studio/ shop in Mineral Point. All designs are original, individually cut and sewn by Kathleen, achieving truly one-of-a-kind pieces including custom buttons per garment. Producing 3 distinct fabric styles on 4 looms throughout the year allows for ongoing artistic exploration and development in pattern-work compositions, while providing her classic line of incredibly soft and beautifully colored rayon chenille scarves and hats.
