A versatile artist in a variety of media, Judy enjoys tile painting, mosaic sculpture, and making hammered brass and copper jewelry for Longbranch Gallery. Judy returned to Midwest roots in 1996 after 17 years as a tile muralist in Santa Barbara, California. Her tile paintings grace many public buildings in Santa Barbara as well as many homes. Now with Sandra Scott she co-owns Longbranch Gallery in Mineral Point. She paints tiles for the gallery, creates mosaic art, and enjoys making hammered copper and brass wire jewelry for gallery sales as well. Judy is also a type designer, writer, poet, and dollmaker. She teaches concrete/mosaic art and hammered wire jewelry at Shake Rag Alley School for Arts & Crafts.
