Wordless, but with what makes words. Soundless, but with what is immanent. Invisible, but for the energies the painting stains. This transfusion. This convergence of inner and outer topographies.
What places come to light when we discover the environment around us is also inside of us? What spaces emerge when we realize the way we move through our minds and hearts reverberates in the way we move through the world?
The hills in southwest Wisconsin have imprinted their curves, their shadows and shapes, upon me. I see the land, the skies, the waters and their creatures. I recognize their vigor and I converse with them continuously. It is a vital exchange.
