I paint with watercolor, gouache and other watermedia to create personal interpretations of my life in rural Wisconsin. I enjoy the process of building strong paintings through choices in subject, color and value that invite you along on a visual journey of my world. I find my subjects on our farmstead on the Baraboo River and other beautiful, wild places in Wisconsin.
I have exhibited in the prestigious “Birds in Art” in Wausau, Wisconsin and my work has been published in numerous books and journals including “The Best of Wildlife Art 2” and “Celebrating Door County’s Wild Places”. I am most grateful to the many private and corporate collectors of my paintings and have used my art to help further the work of numerous conservation groups working to protect the wild creatures of Wisconsin and their habitat.
